Do any of us really care who David Letterman has sex with?
I don't.
You can argue that men in power should not have sex with their employees. You may also contend a married man should not have sex with a person other than their spouse.
I agree with both of those statements. I do.
Really though, who gives a shit?
He's just another famous person who had affairs. The topic bores me.
I did wonder, however, who in the world would want to sleep with David Letterman? An acquaintance on Twitter told me she finds him very sexy in a nerdy sort of way. I also know there are women who are attracted to money, or attracted to fame, or attracted to power. (I'm not one of them.) David Letterman has money, fame and power.
I, personally, don't find him the least bit attractive. I know some women do. David (I'm sure he doesn't mind me calling him by his first name) is just not my type.
It got me to thinking who I would want to have sex with if my only choices were late night TV hosts. Here are the choices I came up with:
First choice is David Letterman:
Second choice is Conan O'Brien. He's the one on the right in the picture below:
Third choice is Jimmy Fallon:
Last, but not least is Jay Leno:
Personally, I'd pick the chimp.
I realize different people are attracted to completely different people/types/personalities. If you had to spend a night having crazy, hot, sex with one of these men - who would you pick? If you're a heterosexual man, I want to hear your answer too!

OK, If my only choices were late night tv show hosts..those ones in particular...I'd choose Jimmy Fallon first. Then Conan. David Letterman and Jay Leno would not even come close.
But may I suggest the incredibly sexy and SUPER hilarious Craig Ferguson. *shiver* That man makes me all wobbly kneed!

Wow. Now you're REALLY branching out, aren't ya Twenty-four? LOL
If I were a woman (which I'm not), I'd have to agree with you that NONE of these late night guys are bed-worthy and I am also a bit surprised by everyone else's shock on the Letterman SEX scandal. But whatever...as you stated...power & money has its benefits.
As for MY choice? Ummm....I'm drawing a blank...

Hm, of those i'd have to go with Jimmy Fallon - mostly for his work "Idiot Boyfriend" ... with lyrics like "why don't you come over to my crib, my pad...I have a swanson's dinner in the freezer with your na-ame on it...we'll watch a movie something like something the matrix" Gold.
But Steven Colbert woos me.
Posted by: Deidre | October 07, 2009 at 03:28 AM
Can I choose "none of the above"? Having said that, since Deidre mentioned Stephen Colbert, may I just say I would have NO problem with Jon Stewart eating matzoh in MY bed. Rawr.

I "m going with Craig Ferguson too

Jay Leno but only cuz he's from my hometown and crazy nice in person. I waited on him when I worked at CVS in high school. He was BEYOND nice and BEYOND funny.
Figure if I leave the lights off and try to avoid getting whacked by his GINORMOUS chin, it could be fun!

Yeah, my first thought was Craig Ferguson too! I don't think I could do the others. Not without a blindfold.

Sex with a chimp? Now that's a thought. JUST KIDDING!!!

I'd probably pick Conan; I always liked a nerdy funny guy.
But if we threw Stephen Cobert into the mix, it would be a tie. The other guys, not so much.

Jon Stewart, Craig Ferguson, and Stephen Colbert in no particular order!
Posted by: Middle-Aged-Woman | October 07, 2009 at 07:17 AM
Jimmy Fallon, Conan, then way down the list Jay Leno and David Letterman. Craig Ferguson should definetely be on the list. Looove his accent.

Count me on the Jon Stewart/Craig Ferguson/Stephen Colbert bandwagon.
Posted by: Andrea/ShutterBitch | October 07, 2009 at 07:35 AM
Jimmy Fallon of the four, but really Jon Stewart.
Posted by: Paris Parfait | October 07, 2009 at 08:40 AM
If I HAD to pick one of these, Jimmy Fallon. But like some of the others Craig Ferguson would be the man for me from late night TV.

1. Let me just say I don't like my choices.
2. If these are my only choices I'd have to go with Jimmy, Conan, Dave & Jay
3. And just FYI; I watch Dave occasionaly but none of the other guys.
Posted by: Linda | October 07, 2009 at 08:46 AM
I'd go for Jimmy Fallon. I haven't seen his show at all, not even once. Which maybe explains why- I have no bias against him. I hates the Jay, Dave is too old now, and Conan... just, no.
Plus look at Jimmy's bedroom eyes and *****eating grin. He looks like he's smiling because he just got finished...

I choose Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Craig Ferguson, and then Jimmy Fallon.
I MIGHT option Conan, if only for his Bud Light commercial, just because I love that he isn't afraid to look like an a-hole :-)

I admit, I have a fondness for David Letterman. He's from my hometown (Indianapolis) and he was the weekend weatherman on Channel 13 for while in the 1970s until he got fired for making smartass comments on air.
I've followed his shows through the decades (starting with his daytime talk show in the early 1980s - who remembers that? Best daytime show EVER!) although I can no longer stay up that late.
Yeah, I'd do him. Him, or Craig Ferguson. I'd do Alton Brown or Tony Bourdain, as well. What can I say? I'm attracted to really smart, funny guys, especially if they're nerdy. Also, I'm 50, so they're kind of in my peer group.
As for the "scandal"? Like you, I've given up caring. People do stupid things all the time because "it seemed like a good idea at the time". I've been there myself, so I shake my head but I try not to judge.

Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Fallon, Conan O'Brien. I don't find the others interesting at all.
Posted by: ebBoykin | October 07, 2009 at 08:57 AM
Like many others mentioned: Where's Craig Ferguson in your list?? I'd pick him, if not for the accent alone ;)
Posted by: Kirsten Wright | October 07, 2009 at 09:11 AM
Let's include choices of local TV weather people. I want Jackie Johnson on Kcal9. Her doplars are magnificent.
Posted by: Mike Krause | October 07, 2009 at 09:33 AM
I would have to say Conan. I'm not sure why but I've always had a little crush on him. But I am thinking he's not really the crazy, hot, sex kinda guy. I just don't get the feeling he would be very good ravaging me, he seems a little too gawky for that.
Posted by: Michelle Pixie | October 07, 2009 at 09:36 AM
Kcal9- Hasn't been the same since Jerry Dunphy died. ;)
Posted by: Jack | October 07, 2009 at 10:06 AM
Too bad Johnny Carson is gone. He would have definitely been in the running.
Posted by: EJ | October 07, 2009 at 10:24 AM
If I had to choose from those... jokers... I'd go with Fallon. And I'd still make him put a bag over his head. Where the hell is Craig Ferguson?? He's a riot, and has a cool accent, AND is better looking than all four of these guys here. Maybe that's just me.. or maybe he's not on anymore? I don't know.
But I'm with you on the "scandal". Sure it's wrong, but why do I have to keep hearing about it?
Posted by: Sarah | October 07, 2009 at 11:03 AM
My sisters are madly in love with Jon Stewart. And all I can say is not Jay Leno.
Posted by: LPC | October 07, 2009 at 11:24 AM
Surely that Leno chap shouldn't even be a "choice".
Posted by: stoneskin | October 07, 2009 at 11:27 AM
As an avowed heterosexual, I vote NONE! However, David Letterman is a puke. When he intentionally used Sarah Palin's daughter for laughs, I wrote a ton of scathing emails to him and NBC. Kids are off limits! Now this, and the way he got the audience to "laugh it off" with him? DISGUSTING! The narcissism that infects "celebrities" is unbelievable. The cult of celebrity is the last altar on earth I would worship at. I like real people, hence my devotion to this blog, among others. steve

I'm not a straight woman, or even a heterosexual man. If I HAD to have sex with a late night host, I would pick Craig Ferguson. He wasn't on your list, but I believe Worldwide Pants produces his show, so is that really a subliminal vote for David Letterman?
