I'm grabbing my camera and doing a little beach hopping today. I've carved out a few free hours and I'm really looking forward to some time by the ocean.
Can we all say hooray for no physical therapy appointments this week?!
It isn't going to be a real warm day, but we've got clear skies and that's good enough for me. The beach is a great thing for my psyche and so is my camera ... the combination is exactly what I need today. (And, perhaps a sweatshirt too!)
Before I take off, I wanted to make a request. If you're one of my local readers and you see me out in public, please say hi. It really gives me the heebie-jeebies when someone across the way stares at me, and stares at me, and then stares at me some more without ever saying anything. I'm nice, I won't be bothered ... just say hi. We'd both be more comfortable if you did.
And yes, woman with long dark hair from yesterday, I'm talking about YOU.
Also, I wanted to let you know I met with my shoulder doc yesterday. He gave me a couple wonderful bear hugs. He also spent a lot of time talking to me about next steps. His words are like ping pong balls bouncing around inside my head right now. I'll be digesting everything he said as I walk the beach today.
Do you have Valentine's plans?
Today is an early gift to myself ...

Enjoy your beach day! I miss walking by the water...although, I used to walk by the river so not nearly as beautiful as the ocean! I wish I could have a beach day!
Stared at by strangers, huh? yep, could be creepy.

I know exactly what you mean. A day at the beach soothes my soul. I'm completely jealous right now as my soul could use some soothing and it's 29 degrees outside with 40 mph winds at the beach. Holding my breath for warmer weather.

That is lovely - I'm so glad you're giving yourself this gift.
Valentine's Day plans...yes, I've got filet mignon and sea scallops on the menu; perhaps with some fresh spinach and a citrus beurre blanc sauce? Beloved, however, says he is way ahead of me on plans for V-Day - but then again, the man has been out of town for 12 days, so I bet I can guess what those plans are. :P

Oh good... glad you are out and about today. Nothing better than a day of blue skies and fresh air whether at the beach or in the mountains. Just too much snow around to get up into our mountains right now. Maybe next month... or this summer?? HA.. if this snow ever goes away. I'll enjoy your pretty photos until then.

It wasn't me staring at you! I will definitely say hi if I ever see you around. Wish I could spend some time at the beach today, but I'm stuck in my windowless office. I hope those ping pong balls settle a bit so you're ready to begin the next phase soon.

I think I will be taking a page out of your book and treating myself to a photowalk too!! Enjoy your day!

That looks like a tropical beach pic! Nice!
Hope the beach walk cleared your head of ping pong balls.
I'm alone this year for V-Day, so I'll probably treat myself to a movie I've been wanting to see. Should be a nice a relaxing day, even if I can't get to a beach.
