He's not allowed on the furniture and he knows it. I found him on my favorite leather chair the other day. He's ten years old. I let him stay where he was ... for just a little while.

I guess a 70 year old needs a little comfort every now and then. :)

Awww, you're such a softie. And he's such a sweetie. I don't know how y'all went 10 years keeping the rules like that. We lasted about 10 days, lol.

I do the same with our pups. Breaks my heart to tell them no when they look up at me with those soulful eyes knowing that they are breaking the laws of the house. He's adorable, Suzanne.

Love this picture! And I love goldens! :) We have a 10 year old chocolate lab. He would never ever get on any furniture when we're here, but when we're gone..... I come home and the guest room bed is a MESS! At this point, I just have to accept how darn cute he is and remake the bed. :)

Our dog is spoiled COMPLETELY rotten. He owns our furniture, and he knows it.

I've never allowed a dog on the couch.....ever...then along came Hollie, our first ever Golden. She gets up on the couch and looks up at me like it's her last day on earth, damn it. I just turn the other way...I didn't see her up there. Freakin' damn cute dogs! Why do they do this? I get it now. Damn it.
