I'm Blaming My Friends, Part II

Let's see, on Monday we left off with this:

A giant sized mojito, or several, a group of friends, a rooftop bar in Laguna Beach with stunning ocean views, and yours truly right smack dab in the middle of things.

I must not get out enough.

I was in quite a "let loose" mood as was my friend, Nike.  My other friends were having a good time too, but Nike and I?  We were having a really good time!

Also?

You should always eat before you drink a bunch of giant sized mojitos.  It slows down the drunkeness-factor.

For instance ...

Who are these people?

Their photos were on my camera, but I have no idea who they are.

I know they were at K'ya; they were seated near us.  How and why I ended up taking their photo is beyond me.  I think maybe I wanted to show you some OC people and they were kind enough to indulge me.

Let's just go with that ... 

(Yes, I am a lightweight with alcohol, why do you ask?)

This is Nike hugging Jim.  We met Jim at the bar.

I never knew Nike was such a man-magnet.  Maybe that's because we often have our husbands with us when we go out.  The opening line (all night long) involved men approaching Nike and telling her she looks like Jamie Lee Curtis.

What do you think? 

Jim seemed like a nice guy.  He was very friendly.

I think Jim liked Nike best.

Then there were these men:

They were there with the Laguna Beach Cowboy.  They seemed very nice.  

No one seemed to think it at all odd that a random drunk woman was approaching them and asking if she could take their photo and put it on the Internet.  

This is Casey.  Casey was our wonderful bartender at K'ya.

Casey makes a mean mojito.  Or two.  Or three.  Or ....

Look at the tattoo Casey has on his elbow:

Ouch!  It must have really hurt to get that tattoo.

This is a very horrible picture of me with Mike:

 

My bangs look exactly the same in this photo as they did when I was five.

F-I-V-E!!

(Dialing a hair stylist ...)

Mike, who is married and declared himself "relatively harmless", was visiting from Sacramento.  Mike wanted us to meet him at a bar after we went to see Can You Be More Pacific?  

That didn't happen ....

I think Mike liked all of us.  He was very friendly to everyone.

What happened next?

The guy in the first picture is named Lenny Kranston. He is a long time resident of Laguna who loves to spend time on the beach. Nice guy, but he is proof that too much son can age you. Lenny is actually 46, but looks much older.

He is a hell of a surfer.

You girls had a lot of fun I can tell!! Nike is beautiful just like her friend 24! ;-) Mike's hand is gettin a little close for comfort in that picture with you and him. I mean I am sure he's married and very friendly it just seemed more of a caress then a "hey let's get a picture together" kinda touch?! I loved all of your captures but your explanations with them had me cracking up!!
