I've had a fever and killer sore throat for the last two days.
I never, ever, get sore throats.
I'm blaming volcanic ash.
What?
I've been getting too little sleep, and been way too busy lately. To make up for it, I slept most of yesterday away. Sleeping during the day is another thing I never do, but I couldn't keep my eyes open for more than a few minutes. Fevers do that to me ... I just sleep and sleep and sleep.
I have a really over-booked week scheduled too, but everything I don't have to do is being put on hold. Unfortunately, today I have a non-stop day of appointments and activities and there's no escaping any of it.
Sorrry for the boring post today, but I wanted to stop in long enough to let you know I'm fine. (When I don't post people assume I'm dead or there's some terrible crisis.)
I'm being looked after constantly by the most attentive, concerned, set of eyes.
He gets so worried when he sees me sleeping all day.
But really, it's just a sore throat.

I hope you're feeling tons better tomorrow! (today?)
And also, 24, what are you trying to do to me with those puppy eyes?

I love that he is concerned. My dogs just look up from their beds long enough to make sure I will be there to feed them, then drop their heads and go back to sleep.
Get well and DO NOT run yourself so ragged.

Lack of sleep plus running yourself ragged equals compromised immune system.
Call your doctor, dear.

Feel better. If you're that tired, your body is sending you a message. Best to listen and get yourself healthy.

I had that a couple weeks ago and did the same thing - slept all day with a canine nurse. They're the best really.

I hope you get well soon, but I am afraid that the volcanic ash excuse doesn't wash. We all know that those pesky Icelanders are sending the volcanic ash straight to the UK, on account of we asked very politely, but very firmly, for our money back after all their banks failed.

Aww, he's a cutie. Sleep is the best thing for a fever or just because. Don't feel guilty!

Hope you are feeling better already 24.
Your doggie is adorable. And loved the photos from the other posts and your girl's day out.
