I want to thank everyone for taking the time to leave comments, and/or sending emails and tweets yesterday. I was busy most of the day and didn't get home until late in the evening. I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to respond to you individually yet. I really appreciate having so many people weigh in with their thoughts on my post.
It's a hard topic to follow.
I thought I should come in today with something light and funny.
Maybe I could dazzle you with my bionic nipples (they really are quite dazzling), or tell you about the Barbie Woman I , literally, bumped into at the Money Town Starbucks yesterday ...
But I can't.
I'm not feeling the funny today.
I'm still digesting all the comments from yesterday and I'm wiped out from a very long, exhausting, day.
Did you know baseball events can last over six hours?
Also, my pain levels are way too high to feel funny right now.
I've been going through a rough time with my bum arm lately. It's like that sometimes. It rebels for no reason at all, or for a reason I don't understand.
Whine, whine, whine ....
But I also have some really exciting, great, news.
I have a reader named Shay.
She's a professional photographer. I've seen some of her photos and they are truly astounding. She has such a gift.
Shay will be hosting Photography Friday right here on 24 tomorrow.
I'm so honored and thrilled. Really, I am.
I wish Shay lived closer so I could follow her around and ask her photography questions all day long. I think all of us will be able to pick up some tips from her tomorrow, even if we only pull our cameras out now and again for a few quick snapshots.
I hope you'll forgive me for this "non-post posting" today. I'll make up for it next week with an exciting give-away.
I also hope you'll come back and visit tomorrow when Shay is here.
You will be so glad you did!

Whine whine whine. I won't hold it against you...
I'm shocked. You dazzled Barbie Woman with your bionic nipples?

Did I hear you say you are giving away a camera next week, a Nikon D90?
LOL
Oh, how we can wish.

I just wanted to let you know I love your photography, especially since I live through your eyes on "Money Town" and the OC. :) Hope the arm lets up for a while really soon. You deserve some much needed "pain free" time my dear. As for your post yesterday and the Whirlpool, I see nothing wrong with anything you did or said. You didn't go after them, didn't bad mouth them, and after all, it is YOUR blog! Hope you have a restful day today. (easier said than done with kids I know lol)

Yesterday TypePad ate my comment and I had to leave so I was unable to rewrite what was lost.
Just wanted to let you know that I was (and I shouldn't be) stunned about all the hoopla over a washing machine. A-mazing!!
Anyone who follows you, or knows you, would know that you were not looking for a freebie from Whirlpool. In fact, you were doing what any number of us do when we have a bad experience, you shared.

Looking forward to tomorrow!

We all need a break once in a while...so you're forgiven (HA!)
Take it easy, and I hope resolution in its many forms can bring you peace again.
Be well, 24.
