It seems like I've been doing a lot of random assortment type of posts lately. I think it might be because it's hard to put more than one, (1, o-n-e), thought together at a time on this medication. (Be patient with me .....)
Here's a look inside my brain gone ADD-ish:
• Today's the last day of school for my youngest son! Woo Hoo!
• Tomorrow morning I'm going to sleep in past 6 a.m.
• This is the first time in three years, all 3 of my kids have been living (not just visiting) at home.
• Kicking my way through several laps in the pool is much more difficult than when I also use my (one and a half) arms.
• Where is the best pizza place in New York City?
• My house is constantly messy with my kids all home. We have a chaotic, but happy, household.
• Why are my teeth, which have been perfectly straight since I had braces in 6th grade, suddenly getting crooked? And does Invisalign work?
• I hate summer league baseball.
• Why am I all of a sudden craving carbs?
• The aesthetician at my plastic surgeon/friends office has offered to do facial-ish stuff to me and I might let her. Just call me a lab rat.
• Will anyone else want to go visit B&H Photo in New York while I'm there?
• Why haven't I done a blog contest lately?
• I've never gone this long without chocolate.
• What type of blog contest should I do?
• I'm thinking about getting my first tattoo towards the end of the summer/fall.
• Maybe I should have a contest to see who can design the best tattoo for me?
• The (possible) tattoo might be indicative of a midlife crisis????? I've never even remotely wanted a tattoo before and now I do.
• I almost fell over from shock when uber-conservative Briefcase said he thought it would be sexy if his uber NOT conservative wife I got a tattoo.
• I've been sort-of planning the tattoo in my head for the last year but I had never mentioned it to anyone until about two weeks ago.
• Maybe I should put the tattoo near my ankle? Or my hoo haa?
• My nipples are still bionic.
• I'll be in Boston later this summer what should I do/see there? I've never been.
• Do you have any tattoos? How much did they hurt?
• My long-time next door neighbor (the very best neighbor in the entire world!) just moved. I'm so sad.
• I could wear my Gap workout/yoga-ish capris every day of the year and be happy.
• Maybe I should have a big plate of carbs and see what happens?
• There are way too many extremely expensive cars around here.
• My (possible) (not-too-big) tattoo is going to be tied to my blog name. Not because I want my blog name tattooed on me. Instead, I chose the name Twenty Four At Heart because it's significant to me, and it will continue to be regardless of whether or not this blog ceases to exist tomorrow.
• I'm not saying this blog WILL cease to exist tomorrow.
• If you haven't tried Tuscan Cantaloupe you have no idea what you're missing.
• I've been indulging in a little retail therapy lately. I should feel guilty, but when life is shitty ... why not?
• So what are YOU thinking?

I'm thinking Beloved's head would explode if I got a tattoo (he doesn't like them) and that I'd like to hear more about this Tuscan cantaloupe.
I'm also thinking I have NOT had enough time to put together my uber-geeky post for Friday. My husband needs to find something other to do than debate with me in the evenings. :P

A friend of mine was carrying your new purse last night at my party! Super cute and I recognized it immediately.
Yes Invisalign does work really well.
Lombardi's in Little Italy has terrific pizza.
Boston is a wonderful city with lots to do, but you must walk the Freedom trail (our friend "B" would insist a trip to Boston isn't complete without a trip to Fenway).
A tattoo, really?
Definitely be a facial guinea pig.
Tuscan cantaloupe is delish.

This is exactly how most of my thoughts are. I can never get them together in sentences to form a blog post. I blame Twitter.
-I would like to get my 3rd tattoo and was thinking about getting in while at BlogHer. I'm in for that. I think...
-I've never been to Boston but would love to go.
-I took my girlfriend to NYC for her Birthday back in January. It was her first time in NY and we never had NY style pizza. Major fail on my part. I say pick the place with the longest line.
-Yes to guinea pig facials. :)

I had a bowl of cereal last night for the first time in months. It put me into a two hour carb coma. I woke up on the couch during Letterman and though, "Whoa! Where'd my evening go?"
I'd love to visit B & H photo but I'm not going to Blogher. Don't miss the opportunity to go; I'll bet it's spectacular in person.
I got my first tattoo at age 35. I didn't want it somewhere that others can see because I didn't want to be judged by it when I'm dressed up in work clothes. (And if you think others don't judge; they do. Good or bad...) So I got it where I normally have hair, above my hoo-ha. I love it. Some close friends know I have it and my boyfriends have always loved it.
It hurt. Yes. I've been told by pt's and by massage therepists that I'm good with pain; but because I got it so low; the coloring in part right on the bone really stung.
I've been thinking about getting another one; but I have weight which fluctuates and that means it can't go a lot of places because it would be deformed when my weight changed. I don't want it someplace where people see it because I deal with a lot of the public at work who would form an unpleasant opinion of a girl with a tattoo and I need to keep the public on my side.
I've been thinking of moving out of my current rental condo; but my dog (and I) have made so many friends that I'm not sure I want to.

I'm thinking it's been FAR to long since I've responded to one of your blogs and I've been a terrible blogger friend.
As for the tattoo...that would be AWESOME! Maybe you should have a contest to have us help you pick it out?
As for your facial thing...don't do it! You are beautiful just the way you are. Just sayin'...

As a photographer you have to go to B&H. Please note the store closes early on fridays and all day saturday.
Don't go to the longest line for pizza becasue that just might be the place that serves it the fastest during lunch time. Go to Mariella's on 3rd/16th. So good and if you need a manicure you have like 5 choices in 2 blocks.
I am not sure what hotel you are staying in but feel free to email me and I can help find one closer to where you are staying

I'm telling you Suzanne, nothing could be better than hearing your random thoughts! How great all the kids are at home for a bit, mine too. Messy, happy chaos!
Keep me posted on the tattoo. I'm still thinking of doing this for my 50th in a couple years...

-->I am a Gen X'r and don't have a tattoo which seems more rare in my age group. I saw a 75 year old man at Costco last week who had a tattoo on his forearm. It didn't look so good and he probably got it years ago in the Navy. As he sat with his wife I got a closer look. It was a dancing lady with her boobies hanging out. Somehow seeing it on a man of that age just didn't work. Choose wisely.

I can't help but comment on the "teeth thing". I asked my dentist at least a year or two ago about why are my teeth suddenly moving....it's another f-----g "age-related" thing. There was a long and involved explanation...it's another one to add to the long list...memory loss, varicose veins, fat, saggy boobs (even the small ones like mine)...now crooked teeth! Hell, my teeth were all I had going right!

I love your drugged up posts. I'll happily work at designing a tattoo for you! I have 4 tattoos and love them all because they have special meaning. Also, they can be covered if necessary.
Keep taking those drugs!

At the age of 50 my teeth started moving, if I didn't resort to braces, I would of had a snaggle tooth coming out my bottom lip! NOT acceptable! I have to have regular braces because my bite needs to be adjusted. I wear them proudly! Which ever way you have to go, Invisalign or the old fashioned "metal mouth" go for it!

I enjoy your blog. Ran across it when I looked up something about Spanx one day. Laughed my ass off at your Spanx experience. Sent it to several of my friends who are also ass-less now from laughing. Then started checking in on you regularly.
I am a 63-year-old widowed female currently living in Canada and hope to be a permanent resident here soon.
I just want to say if you MUST get a tattoo, to me it's a no-brainer. A heart with a 24 inside.
Keep up the good work and good luck on your pain journey...
