Happy Fourth of July

Today is The Fourth of July, Independence Day, for all of us living in the United States.

Ironically enough, it's also my 24th wedding anniversary!

Twenty four years of lost independence ...

Wow!

If all goes as planned, I'll be watching fireworks at the beach with a zillion other people tonight.

(I always try to avoid the beach on holiday weekends, with the night of The Fourth being an exception.)

Enjoy celebrating your wedding anniversary with everyone on the beach. Congratulations on 24 years. May they only get better as time goes by.

Happy Anniversary to you and Briefcase! Enjoy the beach with the gazillion other people. I heard it was overcast all day yesterday. Hopefully clear skies today and for fireworks tonight.

Happy anniversary!! My daughter's guy proposed to her a year ago today - must have something to do with the word - INDEPENDENCE. Or something. Hope you have a wonderful celebration!
