I'm taking a little break from the sun.
Have I mentioned it's hot here? I'm used to heat, but I'm not used to humidity. I know the humidity in Hawaii is nothing compared to what many of you live with every day, but ANY humidity is new for me. I have to take short breaks from it now and then.
I thought I'd post a few Hawaii photos while I'm cooling off.
To be honest, I haven't gone through most of my photos yet and some of these are from my iPhone. Nonetheless, I thought I'd share a glimpse of Hawaii.
My son took the above photo on Kaanapali Beach on Maui with his phone.
I took the above rock/seascape at Napili Bay after a wonderful breakfast at The Gazebo restaurant.
There are geckos everywhere. This isn't much different from home for us, but we were surprised when this little, tiny, baby gecko appeared out of the sand and climbed on my son's foot. (My son had a pet gecko for years so this occurrence didn't faze him in the least.)
A sign like the above (interpreted from Hawaiian into Photographer's Language) means, "If you go beyond this point, you'll be able to take some great photos."
Of course, I speak Photographer's Language so I was happy to oblige.
aww baby geckos are cute. :)

Ah, you tempt me with photos of Hawaii...I must stop looking at them; Beloved's recent bonus MUST be used to pay bills!
Okay, I'm over my brief moment of self-pity. (But still...*sigh*)
